FAQs

Residential & Commercial Tree Services

My neighbor’s tree removal was a lot less then mine. Why was mine so expensive/so much more?

It is important to remember that tree work cost is not just based on the type of tree we are working on but its size, location and the equipment that is needed to safely complete the work.  A large tree removal in the front of your home may cost a lot less than a small tree in the back of your home that will need a crane to safely remove.

Once I agree to have Maple Springs complete my tree work, when will it begin?

Your tree work, once your signed proposal is received, begins on average of 1-2 weeks; sometimes sooner depending on the type of work and equipment needed. We strive to be as quick and efficient as possible. Unfortunately, this is truly a weather dependent business and the safety of our employees takes precedence.

Will my tree work be completed in one day?

Some tree trimming and smaller tree removals that don’t require larger equipment can be completed in one visit. However, most tree work is done in stages over a course of several days: log and brush removal being last.

Maple Springs Tree Service strives to safely complete your tree work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Can you tell if my tree is dying or just need trimming? Or do I need to call an arborist?

The importance of trees in our community cannot be overstated. From providing shade and beauty to life supporting food and oxygen. The loss of Ash trees in our community to the Emerald Ash Borer Beatle has been devastating.

We do not take tree removal lightly. Our estimators and many of our tree care employees have been highly trained to recognize a wide range of tree issues including bug infestations.

We also work with several Certified Arborist in the area that can come and evaluate the health of a tree and best course of treatment.

Are Estimates Free?

All estimates for tree work are free.
A call to Maple Springs Tree Service will allow you to set up an appointment at your convenience to have our qualified Estimator evaluate the work and estimate cost. A copy of his proposal will be sent to you either by mail or email.

Can I pay by credit card?

Why Is Tree Work So Expensive?

The thought of having to call for tree service makes most homeowners cringe, hide their wallets and maybe even cry a little. We completely understand.

There are several reasons for expense.

Qualifications

With the potential dangers that come with tree removal, it is important that our tree care professionals have the highest training possible to safely complete the job. Our employees have skills that come also with years of experience and training in arboriculture.

Insurance

Again, because of the dangers that come with tree work, insurance coverage carries a high price. Maple Springs Tree Service believes that it is extremely important to protect both, you the homeowner and also our employees by carrying the best and most comprehensive insurance possible so you as our valued customer can be confident when work is being done.

Equipment

Driving down the road you catch out of the corner of your eye a crane reaching high in the air with a huge tree carefully being lifted over a home or a bucket truck with a worker in reflective clothing so high in the tree he almost disappears.

Maple Springs Tree Service has an expansive fleet of cranes, trucks and equipment that are used to safely perform even the most difficult tree work.

Unfortunately, the cost of keeping these safely running at peak performance can be very expensive.
